Somya Gold And Creations Private Limited is located at 1672 M. G. Road in Mhow. If you know Mhow, you know M.G. Road gets pretty busy with people and traffic all day long. We are right in the middle of it all. The shop has been here for a while and we spend most of our time working with gold and making different items. It's not a huge place, but it's where we do everything from weighing pieces to talking with people who stop in. The Indore heat can get quite strong, especially in the middle of the day, so we have a fan going constantly. We keep the counter clear so we can show the gold properly. It’s a lot of manual work, looking closely at small details. Sometimes the light isn't the best but we make do with what we have. Mhow has a specific feel to it, a bit slower than Indore city itself but still active. We get our supplies and then we spend hours at the benches. It's a simple setup with some chairs and the glass cases. We try to keep things neat, but when you're working with tools and metal, things get a bit messy. It's just how the job is. We are usually here from early morning until the sun goes down and the street lights come on. It is a bit noisy with the bikes outside but we are used to it by now. Most days are just about the work.
