Our shop is on the first floor of Tirupati Market, units 114 and 115, right in Bada Sarafa. If you know this area, you know it's the heart of the jewelry trade around here. We’ve been in this market for a long time. It’s always crowded and noisy with people looking at gold and stones. We focus on diamonds, mostly. We spend our days looking through loupes and talking to customers who come up the stairs. The shop isn't huge, but it's where we keep our tools and our stock. It’s a family-run kind of feel here. We don't have a lot of flashy lights or big displays. We just show the stones for what they are. Sometimes the market gets so busy you can hardly walk through the aisles, but we like the energy. We’ve seen the market change over the years, but we’re still here in the same spot. People come to us because they know where we are and they know we’ve been here forever. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. Most of our customers are regulars or people their friends sent over. It’s a simple way to run a business. We just open up in the morning and see who comes by the market that day. It's dusty and loud outside, but inside we just focus on the jewelry. We usually have a cup of tea ready for anyone who stops by to chat.
