Singh General Store

I've been running Singh General Store here in Krishbaug Colony for a while now. It's just a small place in Indore, zip code 452003. We have the usual things people need every day. The shop stays open most of the day because neighbors come by for small stuff like milk or bread or soap. It’s not a fancy supermarket, just a corner shop. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the mornings when everyone is rushing for work. I try to keep the shelves stocked with the basics. Living and working in the same colony makes it easy to know most faces around here. If you live nearby in Indore, you probably pass by our door. We don't have a big sign or anything special, just the name on the front. It’s a quiet life mostly. I spend my time arranging boxes and talking to the regular customers who stop in. Sometimes the delivery trucks take their time getting here, so the stock varies a bit. It’s just how things go. We keep it simple. There isn't much to say about us except that we are here if someone forgets to buy something on their way home. It’s a small space, so things are packed in, but we usually find what people are looking for. The weather in Indore can get hot, so the fan stays on all day behind the counter. That is really the whole story of this little store.
