You can find Shri Tara Metals at Shop No-5/2 in New Palasia. It's a busy area, and we've been here for a while now. The shop is tucked in among a lot of other businesses, so it can get a bit crowded on the sidewalk. We handle various types of metal, and the place is usually stacked high with whatever we've managed to get in that week. It’s not a very big space, so we have to be careful about where we put things so people can still walk through. My cousins and I run the daily operations. We spend most of the morning answering the phone and writing down orders on whatever scrap of paper is handy. The afternoon is usually for organizing the stock and talking to the people who drop by. New Palasia has changed quite a bit since we started, with more shops opening up all the time. We still have the same old shutters that get stuck halfway sometimes. It’s a local business, through and through. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing our name and where the shop is located. Sometimes we stay late to finish a count of the inventory, especially when a big shipment is expected. It’s just how we spend our days. There’s always a tea stall nearby where we take our breaks and talk about the news.
