Tahir Scrap Traders

We operate Tahir Scrap Traders out of Shop Numbers 1, 2, and 4 in the Bangali Colony area of Chhawani. Having three shops sounds like a lot, but they’re mostly used for sorting through the different types of scrap we collect. It’s a messy business, to be honest. There’s always metal clanging around and people dropping off old bits of iron or copper. We don’t try to make the place look like a showroom because it’s not. It’s a workspace for people who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. Chhawani is a busy part of town, and Bangali Colony always has something going on. We’ve been here for a while, and the neighbors know us for the work we do. We take in what people don't want anymore and figure out where it needs to go next. It’s practical work. My guys and I spend the day weighing things and moving piles around to make space for the next load. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or corporate values. We just try to give a decent price and keep the yard organized enough so we can find things. Some days are busier than others, especially when a big truck comes in to haul things away. We just take it as it comes. It’s a grit-and-grime kind of job, but it’s what we know how to do. You get used to the noise after a few weeks working here at the shop and it becomes normal.
