Shri Shyam Enterprises

Our setup at Shri Shyam Enterprises is basically a godown on Nemabar Road. It’s at number 336/1, and we’re specifically in Godown No. 7. Being near Vikram Agrotech means there are always big trucks coming and going, which kicks up a lot of dust. The space itself is huge with high ceilings, but it’s mostly filled with goods and heavy equipment. It stays pretty cool inside because of the way the roof is built, which is lucky during the summer months. We don’t have a fancy office; it’s just a small corner with a table and a couple of chairs where we keep the logs. Most of the day is spent loading or unloading stuff. It’s physical work and your hands get dirty pretty quick. We use a lot of old-fashioned methods to keep track of things because they just work better for us. Nemabar Road isn't the prettiest place, but it's where the work happens. We know the other guys working in the nearby godowns, and we all kind of look out for each other. Sometimes the gate squeaks so loud you can hear it from the road, but we haven't bothered to oil it yet. It’s just a straightforward operation. We show up, do the lifting, check the numbers, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s not a complicated life, but it keeps us busy enough to not mind the long hours.
