You can find us at No. 51 on Subhash Marg. We are right in the middle of Dhan Mandi here in Ratlam. If you know this area, you know how loud and busy it gets with all the trading going on. Shri Ram Trading Company has been part of this market for a long time. We deal with various goods that come through the Mandi. Our days start very early, usually before the sun is fully up, because that’s when the trucks start arriving. There is a lot of shouting, weighing, and carrying sacks. It’s a very physical environment. Our office is just a small room with a desk and some old chairs where we settle the accounts. We don't use much technology, just some ledgers and a basic phone. The air is always full of the smell of grain and dust. We’ve known the other traders on Subhash Marg for decades. We compete, but we also help each other out when someone is short-handed. It’s a tough way to make a living sometimes, especially when prices are all over the place. We don't have any polished brochures. What you see is what you get.
