Shree Vinayak Kirana Store

Shree Vinayak Kirana Store is located at 1053/10 in Nanda Nagar, Indore. It’s a typical neighborhood shop where we sell groceries and daily essentials. I’ve lived in Indore for most of my life, so I know how people here like to shop. We keep big sacks of grain and flour near the entrance. Inside, the shelves are packed with jars of spices, tea, and biscuits. It’s not a very modern place. We still use a manual scale for some things, though we have a digital one now too. The shop is tucked away in a residential part of Nanda Nagar, so most of our customers are our neighbors. I know their names and what they usually buy on a Saturday morning. Sometimes the neighborhood kids come in for a small packet of snacks. The shop is a bit dim because we don't have many windows, but we keep the front door wide open. When it rains, the water sometimes splashes onto the step, and I have to mop it up. It’s just me and my brother running the place. We take turns sitting at the counter. We don't have any big advertisements. Word of mouth is how people find us. We just focus on keeping the shelves full so that when someone runs out of salt or oil, they can just walk over. It’s a simple way to make a living here in Indore.
