Shree Nath Store

Our place is on the Main Road of M G Road, right near Modiji Ki Nasiya and Bada Ganpati. It is a very busy part of Indore, and being at number 408 means we see a lot of people every single day. The shop has been around for a while, and the walls are covered in shelves that go from the floor to the ceiling. We keep all the usual general store items, like pulses, spices, soaps, and snacks. Because we are near Bada Ganpati, we get a lot of people who are just visiting the area and need a quick bottle of water or some biscuits. I spend a lot of time just organizing the stock because things get moved around a lot when it is crowded. The morning is usually for cleaning and getting the milk crates inside before the sun gets too high. It can get a bit loud with the horns honking outside on the Main Road, but you stop noticing it after a while. I have a small chair behind the counter where I sit and do the billing. It is a simple life, just making sure the shop is open on time and that we have enough of what people want. Most of the time, I am just chatting with the other shopkeepers nearby while we wait for the next customer to walk in.
