Shikhar Carrier Academy

Shikhar Carrier Academy is over at 23 Press Complex on A B Road. It’s situated near the Shri Ahilya Devi Institute. Indore is a big city for students, and this area especially has a lot of coaching centers. We are just one of the many, sitting in a building that has seen a lot of use over the years. We teach different subjects depending on what the students are preparing for. The rooms are basic, nothing special to look at, but they serve the purpose. We have benches and some boards. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but that’s just how it is in an old building. We don't really do much advertising. Most kids come here because their friends told them about us or they saw our small board on the main road. The schedule changes a bit depending on the exam dates. We try to be flexible. It’s a lot of hard work for the students, and we just sit there with them to go through the notes and the practice papers. It’s a very local feel here. No one is wearing suits or anything corporate. We are just teachers who know the subjects and have been doing this for a long time. It gets busy in the evenings when the street is full of people heading home. We keep things simple and focus on the books. There is always a lot of chatter during the breaks, but we get back to work quickly.
