Sharma Kirana General Store

We are located at 162 Nemawar Road in the Navlakha area of Indore, specifically in the Chitawad neighborhood. It’s a busy place because of all the heavy traffic on Nemawar Road. Sharma Kirana has been a part of this corner for quite a while now. We aren't a big fancy store. It’s just a regular place where we stock the essentials. We have big jars of snacks on the counter and stacks of grains in the back. The floor is concrete and we try to keep it clean, but with all the people coming in from the dusty road, it’s a constant task that never really ends. We open up early and usually stay until the street gets quiet at night. There isn't much of a philosophy to how we run things. We just try to have what people ask for when they come through the door. If someone needs a kilo of sugar or some matchboxes, we’ve got it. It’s mostly just one or two of us working here at any time. We know the rhythm of the neighborhood, like when people are coming home from work and need to pick up something for their dinner. It’s a simple life, running a shop like this. We don't have any slogans or big promises. We just sell groceries to our neighbors and try to keep things organized as best as we can every day.
