Schwing Stetter (India) Pvt. Ltd. operates out of 20, Mangal Compound. If you know the area, it’s right behind that big Mercedes showroom off the Ring Road in Dewas Naka. It gets pretty busy around here with all the trucks moving in and out, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get on the road at once. We spend most of our time dealing with heavy machinery, mostly concrete stuff like mixers and pumps that take up a lot of space. The yard is usually full of yellow metal and spare parts waiting to be used. Sometimes the dust from the Ring Road gets into everything, but that’s just how it is in this part of town and we've gotten used to it. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, and the guys in the workshop know the daily routine better than anyone. There isn't much fancy about the office, just some desks and a lot of paperwork regarding machine orders and delivery schedules. People often stop by asking for directions because of the showroom nearby, and we just point them the right way. It’s a noisy place with the traffic constantly humming in the background, but we get the work done. The heat in the afternoon can be a bit much under the shed, so we usually take a break for tea then. We just focus on getting the machines out to the people who need them.
