Prakash Asphaltings & Toll Highways (India) Ltd. is situated at Plot No. 76 on Mall Road. This is right in Mhow. Mall Road is a central part of the town, so there is always something happening outside our windows. The office isn't hidden away; it's right there where the action is. Despite the long company name, we are just a bunch of people working on road and highway projects from this base in Mhow. The building at Plot 76 is an older structure, the kind that has seen a lot of seasons. We have our maps and project charts spread out across the tables most days. Working on asphalt and toll roads means we are often thinking about the heat and the traffic, even when we are sitting inside. The atmosphere in the office is pretty casual. You’ll see people coming in with boots or carrying rolls of plans. We don't really do the whole corporate suit-and-tie thing unless it's absolutely necessary. Mhow has a specific feel to it, being a military and residential mix, and Mall Road captures that quite well. We like being centrally located because it makes it easier for our crews to check in before heading out to various sites. There’s no big reception area with fancy lights, just a couple of chairs and a lot of work getting done. It’s a busy, functional space that serves its purpose for our highway and toll work every single day.
