Satyam Traders

Satyam Traders is located right at Plot No. 1/1 in Kalali Mohalla. We are over in the Chhawani area, very close to the Anaj Mandi. Being near the grain market means there’s always a lot of dust and noise from the trucks moving in and out. It’s a grit-under-your-fingernails kind of place. We deal with various goods that come through the market. My father started this and now I handle the day-to-day stuff. The warehouse space isn't huge but we make it work. Every morning starts with checking what arrived overnight. Sometimes the stock is good, sometimes it's delayed. You can’t really control the weather or the transport. We have a small office space where we keep the ledgers. Everything is still mostly done on paper because that's what we know. The chairs are old and the desk is cluttered. When the sun goes down, the area gets a little quieter, but during the day it’s constant movement. We see a lot of farmers and transport guys coming through. They stop for a bit, we settle the accounts, and they move on. It’s a simple cycle. We don't have any big signs or advertisements. People know where we are because we’ve been here for years. It’s just honest work in a busy corner of the city. We do our best to keep things moving. We will be here tomorrow too, just like today.
