Satguru Kirana Stores

Our shop is Satguru Kirana Stores, located at 217 in the Labriya Bheru area of Dhar Road. This part of Indore is always full of life. The address says Dhar Road twice, which is funny, but it really is the main part of our neighborhood. We are in the 452002 pincode, right where the local people do their daily shopping. It is a simple kirana store. We spend a lot of time weighing out items and packing them for customers. It’s not a fancy job, but it is what we do. The shop is usually filled with the smell of spices and grains. We don't have any professional managers or anything like that. It’s just us family members running the place. We know the regulars who come from Labriya Bheru. Sometimes it gets busy and people have to wait a little, but they don't seem to mind. We keep the shop open for long hours. When the sun goes down, the street lights come on and the road gets even busier. We just keep working until it's time to close up. The store isn't very large, so we have to be smart about where we put the new bags of flour and sugar. Sometimes we find ourselves moving things multiple times a day. It is just the way things are at 217. We don't have any big plans to change anything. We just like being part of the community here in Indore and serving the people we know.
