Sarvodaya

Sarvodaya is located right at Palasia Square, on A.B Road. We are in the Manorama Ganj area, very close to the Punjab National Bank branch. It’s a very central spot in the city, which means it’s always loud with traffic. We’ve been here in the Desh building for quite a while now. Most people who live around Palasia know where we are because they walk past us every day. We don't do much in terms of advertising or social media. We just keep our doors open and wait for people to come in. The space is a bit cramped inside because we have a lot of stuff packed onto the shelves. It’s not a modern mall or anything like that; it’s just a regular shop. We deal with various items that the locals around here need for their daily lives. The noise from A.B Road is always there, but you get used to it after you've been here a few years. We have a small staff and we all know each other’s families. We don't have fancy uniforms or name tags. We just wear what’s comfortable for a long day of work. It’s a simple life. We try to be helpful when someone asks a question. Most of our day is spent talking to neighbors or checking our stock levels. Sometimes the bank gets crowded and people park their scooters right in front of us, but we manage. It’s a busy corner, but it feels like home for us.
