Saluja Kirana Stores

Saluja Kirana Stores is right at 292, M G Road in Indore. We are near the Big Ganpati Mandir, which makes it easy for people to explain where we are located. The shop has been in this spot for a long time now. We deal with all kinds of groceries like pulses, rice, and oils. Every morning, the area gets busy with people heading to the temple and we open up the shutters early to catch the first few customers. The 452001 area is always full of life. Inside the store, it is a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of stock on the shelves. Sometimes you have to move a bag of flour just to reach the tea packets. We don't use any fancy systems here. Everything is done by hand and we remember most of the prices by heart. The floor is made of old stone and it has worn down in the spots where people stand the most. We get a lot of regulars who stop by not just to buy things but to talk about what is happening in the city. It is a bit loud with the traffic from M G Road constantly passing by, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We just try to keep the basics ready so nobody has to go far to find what they need for their house.
