Saloni General Store

Saloni General Store is over in Nanda Nagar, Indore, right near the Teen Puliya area. If you live around here, you probably pass by us all the time. Indore is a city that loves its food and shopping, and we try to fit right into that. Our shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular storefront with plenty of stuff packed inside. We sell everything from basic spices to soaps and batteries. Being near Teen Puliya means there’s always people walking around, especially in the evenings when things cool down. We spend our days mostly rearranging the items on the shelves and checking what we need to order for next week. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting boxes and cleaning the glass jars. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just like seeing the same neighbors every day and knowing what they need before they even ask. Sometimes we run out of things because the supplier didn't show up, and we just have to tell people to come back tomorrow. It’s an honest way to live. The shop is our second home, really. We are usually here from early morning until the street lights have been on for a while. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. We just tell people the price and help them find what they are looking for in the piles.
