Our facility is situated over in Bhawarkua, right near the My Car showroom. Sainath Cold Storage Pvt. Ltd. is where we keep things cool for local farmers and businesses who have goods that simply cannot sit out in the heat for long. It is a big, chilly building, which is actually quite nice during the middle of the summer months here in Indore. We spend a lot of our time checking the thermometers and making sure the compressors are running exactly like they should. It is a lot of responsibility because people trust us with their livelihood, whether it is a load of potatoes or other fresh produce. We have trucks coming in and out at all hours, so there is usually someone here keeping an eye on things. It is not a fancy job, and we spend a lot of time in heavy coats even when it is boiling hot outside. The office is just a small room where we keep track of who has what in which locker. Sometimes the power flickers and we all have a bit of a worry, but we have backup systems for that. We just try to keep everything running smoothly without much fuss or noise. We are not into big corporate speeches or missions. We just know how to run a cold storage and we do it every day. It is practical and necessary.
