Dakornath Greeh Udyog

Dakornath Greeh Udyog is a small operation we run out of Dutt Nagar in Pratapnagar. It’s more of a home-style industry. We started it because we wanted to make things that people in the neighborhood would actually use. We don't have a big factory or a lot of machines. A lot of what we do is done by hand, the old way. Pratapnagar is a quiet place and we like it that way. We make various food items and snacks that you’d usually find in a local kitchen. It’s not about being a big brand for us. It’s about making sure the quality is what we’d eat at home. The neighbors often stop by when they smell something good cooking. We use the space we have in Dutt Nagar as best we can. It gets a bit cramped when we have a big order to finish, but we all pitch in. Sometimes our family members help out too during the busy season. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements. Most people hear about us from their friends or family. We’ve been doing this for a while and we don’t plan on changing much. Just making good stuff and selling it at a fair price. That is basically what we are about here. We just want to keep the tradition going in our own small way.
