Ravi Mehandi Art & Parlour

Ravi Mehandi Art & Parlour is located in Apollo Tower at G 25/26. We are on the floor right above Sajan Sajni in Indore. It’s a busy building with a lot of movement. Our main thing is mehandi, but we also do other parlour services for women. The shop has a lot of small stools because applying mehandi takes a long time and you have to sit still. You can usually smell the henna paste being mixed in the back. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze in the shop when we have a few girls getting their hands done at the same time. We have various books with designs that people can look through, though many just ask for something simple. During the wedding season, we are incredibly busy and the shop stays open much later than usual. The rest of the year is more relaxed. We have some mirrors and a small area for hair work too. The tower can be a bit confusing to navigate if you haven't been here before, but once you find us, it's a straightforward place. We aren't trying to be a high-end salon. We just provide a service that people in Indore need. It's hard work on the back and neck, sitting like that all day, but it’s what we do. We just keep our cones ready and wait for the next customer to come in and sit down for their design.
