Chetak Auto Engineering Products Co. Pvt. Ltd. is located at No. 9-10 Libra Siena Tower, which is on Rani Bagh Khandwa Road. We’re right opposite Queens College, so there’s always a lot of students and traffic passing by. Our space in the tower is where we handle all the engineering product stuff. It’s a lot of technical drawings and looking at metal parts. We have a small team here who really understands the nuts and bolts of the auto industry. The office isn't very large, so things are a bit cramped with all the samples and catalogs we keep around. We started out small and we’ve just stayed focused on the engineering side of things. Most of our day involves talking to suppliers and checking the components we deal with. It gets noisy outside because of the main road, but we’re used to it by now. We usually have our lunch together in the back room. There’s no corporate cafeteria here, just a microwave and a small table. We’ve been in this building for several years and know the other shop owners nearby. We don't put on any airs about what we do. It’s just technical work that needs to be done accurately. If the parts aren't right, nothing else matters, so we spend a lot of time checking the specs and making sure everything is counted correctly before it goes out.
