Rajesh Kirana Store

My name is Rajesh, and I run the Rajesh Kirana Store over at Shop 7/3, Ambey Chowk in Indore 452011. We are located in the Lig Colony area, and Nehru Nagar is just a short walk away. It’s a nice neighborhood with lots of families who have been living here for generations. I usually open up the shop around eight in the morning and start by tidying up the entrance. We sell all the usual kirana items like flour, sugar, and tea leaves. The people around Ambey Chowk are friendly, and we often spend a few minutes chatting about the weather or the local news while I weigh out their pulses. It’s a simple routine, and I like it that way. Sometimes the supply trucks come late and I have to scramble to get everything sorted, but usually, it’s quite predictable. The afternoons can be a bit quiet when it’s hot outside, so I take that time to rest or check my inventory. We’ve been here long enough that I’ve seen the kids from the colony grow up and start bringing their own children to the shop. It’s not about being a big supermarket or anything; it’s just about being the local store where people feel comfortable. We just do our work, keep the place clean, and make sure we don't run out of the things people need most for their daily meals at home.
