Surgi - Med Devices

Our place, Surgi - Med Devices, is up on the second floor of Dawa Bazar at No. 31. R. N. T. Marg is a pretty well-known spot for this kind of thing. Being on the second floor means we don't get as much walk-in traffic as the shops on the ground floor, but we prefer it that way. It’s a bit quieter. We spend a lot of our time dealing with boxes and equipment. The hallways in Dawa Bazar are always crowded with people moving crates around. Our office is a bit cramped because we have so much stuff packed in. There are two desks and a lot of filing cabinets. We mostly talk to people over the phone or through the window. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking serial numbers. We’ve been at this location for a few years now. The elevator in the building is a bit moody, so we often end up taking the stairs. It’s good exercise, I guess. We aren't a big corporation. It's just a handful of us making sure orders get out. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment arrives. R. N. T. Marg is always busy, even in the evenings. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s a practical way to spend the day. Nothing too exciting happens here, but we like the consistency. The building itself has a very specific smell of cardboard and cleaning supplies.
