Propenny Auction

Propenny Auction is based out of Scheme No 103 on Keshar Bagh Road. It’s a part of town that has a lot of history, and our building fits right in with that. The office itself is pretty simple, with just enough room for our computers and a small area where we can sit and talk. We spend most of our time watching the auction numbers on our screens. It can be a bit boring when things are slow, but then it gets really hectic all of a sudden. We have a small crew here, and we’ve all gotten used to the way the floor creaks when you walk near the back window. There isn’t any fancy signage or a big lobby to impress people. We just focus on the work we have in front of us. Keshar Bagh Road is usually busy, so there’s a lot of background noise from the street, but we don't mind it much anymore. We’ve been here long enough that we know the best times to avoid the traffic. Most of the furniture we use is second-hand, but it works just fine for what we need. We don't really have a grand plan; we just take the auctions as they come and try to keep everything organized. It’s a practical way to spend the day, and we like the independence of being a local business. By the time we leave in the evening, the streetlights are starting to come on.
