Prakash Traders

Prakash Traders is located at Plot No. 16 in the Loha Mandi area. We are right on the Main Road, so the trucks don't have too much trouble getting in and out. It’s a noisy part of town with all the loading and unloading going on all day. We deal with various items and keep our stock moving as best as we can. The warehouse isn't the prettiest building, but it does what it needs to do. We spend most of our time checking lists and making sure the counts are right. Sometimes the weather makes it tough, especially when it rains and the road gets messy, but we keep the gates open. It’s a family-run kind of thing for the most part. We have a small desk near the front where we handle the paperwork. Nothing is digitized to the point of being fancy. We still use ledgers and keep physical copies of things. It works for us. Working in Loha Mandi means you see a lot of the same faces every day. We’ve built up a rhythm over the years. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just trying to run a decent trading business from our plot. If you walk past, you’ll probably see us sorting through crates or talking to drivers. It’s a busy life but it’s what we know. We stay focused on the day-to-day tasks and don't worry too much about the rest. Every morning we open up and just start where we left off.
