Pooja Stores

Pooja Stores is our little place over in Indore, specifically at Plot No. 1108 in the Swarna Place Scheme No. 114. We are situated on Rajiv Awas Vihar Road, which is in the Vijay Nagar area. If you’re looking for us, we are quite close to the Power House for Scheme 114. It’s a growing part of the city with a lot of new houses coming up. We opened this store to provide the basics to the people moving in. We stock everything from kitchen staples like flour and spices to household cleaners and personal care items. The shop isn't fancy at all. We have some old racks and a few refrigerators for milk and curd. It gets a bit hot in the summer, but we keep the door open to catch whatever breeze there is. I run the place mostly by myself. Sometimes my wife helps out in the evenings when it gets busy. We don't have a big computer system for billing; we just write things down or remember the prices. It’s a simple way of doing business that works for us. We know most of the customers who live in the nearby flats. They come in for a loaf of bread or a packet of biscuits and stay to talk for a minute. It’s a friendly atmosphere. We don't have a fancy logo or a marketing plan. We just stay open and try to be helpful.
