Our place is at No. 6/2 in Rambag. It’s a busy area, and we fit right in with the other workshops around here. We make ropes. Different kinds, different thicknesses. If you walk into the building, you’ll see coils of rope stacked up to the ceiling in some places. The machines make a rhythmic sort of thumping noise that you get used to after about five minutes. We’ve been doing this in Rambag for a long time. The floors are concrete and a bit worn down from moving heavy spools around all day. It’s a physical job, no doubt about it. We don't have a lot of fancy office furniture. Most of us are out on the floor anyway, making sure the fibers are feeding into the machines correctly. Sometimes a strand breaks, and we have to stop everything and fix it. It happens. We just deal with it and keep going. The air smells a bit like synthetic material and dust, which is just part of the trade. We’ve got a small team, and everyone knows what their job is. We don’t spend much time on the phone unless it’s a customer asking about a delivery. Most of our business is done through local contacts who know where we are. If you’re coming to see us, just look for the big gate in Rambag. It’s usually open during the day unless we’re loading a big shipment. The noise stops when we go home.
