Nilesh Dalal

Living and working out of MIG Colony in Indore has its own rhythm. My place, Nilesh Dalal, is over at F-48. It’s a residential area mostly, so you don’t get that heavy commercial noise you find in the city center. The 452001 area is pretty familiar to me since I’ve spent so much time here. The building at F-48 has been around for some years. It’s got a bit of character, maybe a few cracks here and there, but it feels like home. I don’t really believe in those shiny offices you see in the magazines. Here, things are a bit more practical. We have some chairs, a desk that’s seen better days, and plenty of paperwork. The neighbors are mostly families, so things quiet down nicely in the evenings. Sometimes when the weather is good, you can smell people cooking dinner nearby. It makes for a nice atmosphere to work in. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy letters for us. It’s just me and the work at hand. If someone needs to find us, they just come to the colony and look for the number. It’s straightforward. We’ve been here through the hot summers and the rainy seasons, just keeping the lights on and doing what needs to be done. It’s not much of a story, but it’s our daily reality here in Indore. We just stay busy and keep the routine going.
