New Suhag General Store

If you walk through Shabnam Market near Palda Naka, you’ll find New Suhag General Store. We are right there on M G Road in Indore. It’s a fast-paced area, and there’s always something happening outside the door. We handle a bit of everything here, from household items to small things you didn't know you needed until you saw them on the shelf. The morning starts with pulling up the shutters and seeing who’s already waiting. Indore is a city that loves its routine, and we are part of that. We spend a lot of time unpacking crates and making sure the prices are marked correctly, though sometimes we miss one. The shop isn't very large, so we have to use every bit of space, even the high shelves that need a ladder to reach. It gets a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once, but that’s just how market shops are. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just the name and our stock. Sometimes the light inside is a bit dim on cloudy days, but we manage. Most of our customers are locals who live within walking distance. They come in for their monthly supplies or just a single pen. It’s a lot of standing around and waiting for the next person, then a sudden rush where everyone wants something at the same time. We just keep going until it's time to go home. The floor needs a good scrub every evening to get the street dirt off.
