Narayanji Shankarlal Dal Mill

Our dal mill, named Narayanji Shankarlal Dal Mill, is located in Sector A of Scheme 71. Specifically, we are at Plot 10/B/1 in the Chandan Nagar area, which is just off Dhar Road. It is a fairly busy part of town with a lot of industrial activity. We have been running this mill for many years, focusing on the processing of different types of pulses. The mill is a large, open space filled with the sound of sorting and grinding machines. It’s a noisy environment, but it’s the sound of work being done. We don't have a fancy entrance or a reception area. If you come to see us, you’ll likely find us on the floor checking the quality of the dal or talking to the laborers. The building is older and has its quirks, like a leaky roof in one corner that we really need to fix someday. We handle a lot of bulk orders for local traders and shops around town. It’s a straightforward business with no room for corporate fluff. We get the raw dal, we process it, and we send it out. My grandfather started this business, and we are just trying to keep his legacy going by doing things the right way. We value the relationships we have built with our customers over the decades. It’s a lot of hard work and long days, but it is what we know.
