Mashal School Of Hotel Management, Ips Academy

Our school, Mashal School Of Hotel Management, is actually located right inside Hotel Mashal on A.B. Road in Rau. It’s part of the Ips Academy. Being based at an actual hotel makes a lot of sense for us because the students get to see how a real business operates every day. It isn't just classrooms and textbooks here. You can hear the kitchen noise and see the guests coming and going while we are teaching. It’s a busy environment. We teach the basics of how to run a hotel and manage staff. The location at Jhoomar Guat is pretty well known in the area. We have been here for a long time. The building itself has its own character and it's not like those shiny new glass offices you see everywhere. It feels more lived-in and real. Our instructors have mostly worked in hotels themselves, so they tell stories about what it’s actually like on the floor. We don't try to sugarcoat the industry because it’s hard work. Long hours and standing on your feet is part of the deal. We just want to give people a decent start in the hospitality world. It's a practical place for practical learning. There's always something to fix or a new group of students to look after, which keeps us pretty occupied throughout the week. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we enjoy the daily chaos of it.
