Manoj Kumar Patodi runs Sajal Clinic here in Depalpur. It’s right on Tehshil Road in Indore. The street gets quite busy during the day with people coming and going from the government offices nearby. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. Most people around here know where the clinic is. It is just a regular place where people come when they aren't feeling well or need a checkup. The building isn't anything fancy, just a practical space to do the work. We see a lot of local faces every day. Some people walk in from the nearby neighborhoods, and others come from further out in the tehsil. The weather in Indore can get pretty hot in the summer, so we try to keep the waiting area as comfortable as we can with what we have. It’s mostly just routine stuff here. You see kids with coughs, older folks with their usual aches, and everything in between. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening rush dies down. Sometimes the traffic on Tehshil Road makes it hard to park, but people manage. We don’t have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure things run okay. It is a quiet kind of life, really. We just focus on the people who walk through the door and try to help them out with whatever they need that day. There’s always something to do, whether it’s cleaning up or filing papers.
