Manish General Stores

Manish General Stores is over at 59/1 Uttami Chanbers in Indore. Our shop is right in the heart of the city where things are always moving fast. The building itself, Uttami Chanbers, has been around for a while and you can see that in the architecture. Inside our store, it’s all about the daily goods. We have soaps, toothpastes, lentils, and all sorts of snacks stacked up high. The space is a bit narrow, so we have to be smart about how we pile the crates. It gets quite crowded in the mornings when the milk and bread deliveries arrive and we have to sort everything out before the first customers show up. Indore can be quite hot and dusty, so there’s a constant battle to keep the stock looking fresh. We aren't interested in being the biggest store, just a reliable one where you can get what you need without a fuss. We've got a ceiling fan that makes a bit of a clicking noise, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. People from the nearby offices and apartments are our main customers. They come in for a quick bottle of water or a pack of biscuits and we usually have a brief chat about the weather or the traffic. It’s a simple routine and we’ve been following it for a long time now.
