Our office is tucked away in Southtukoganj at Navkar Apartment. We are on the fourth floor, specifically unit 402. It is a bit of an older building, but it has character and it’s right in the middle of Indore. Khetlaji Strategic Advisors Private Limited is basically a group of us who show up every morning, unlock the heavy door, and get to work. The apartment building has other families and businesses in it, so you hear all sorts of sounds throughout the day. You might hear someone’s TV or the sound of a pressure cooker from another floor while we are trying to look at files. It’s not a corporate park vibe at all. We have our desks set up in the main rooms, and the balcony is where we usually stand to get some fresh air. Southtukoganj is a good area because you can walk to a lot of places from here. There is a small shop nearby where we get our stationery and snacks. We don't have a big HR department or fancy lunchroom. Usually, we just eat at our desks or go out for a quick bite. The walls are a bit plain, and we probably should have painted them last year, but we never got around to it. It’s a practical space. We focus on the work we have in front of us and don't worry too much about the office looking perfect. It works for us and keep us close to the city center.
