Our office is tucked away at 4/22 in Vijay Nagar. It’s not a huge place, just a few desks and a lot of paper. We spend most of our time hunched over drawings or staring at computer screens. Architecture sounds like it’s all about pretty pictures, but for us, it’s mostly about figuring out how things fit together. We deal with a lot of measurements and technical stuff that can be quite dry. Sometimes we have to head out to construction sites to see how the work is going. Those days are usually dusty and loud, but it’s good to see the lines on the paper turning into real walls. We talk to contractors a lot, trying to make sure they understand what the plans are supposed to look like. It’s a lot of back and forth. Back at the office, the coffee machine is usually running because the days can get pretty long. We aren't some big firm with a lobby and a receptionist. It’s just a few of us working together. We try to keep things organized, but there are always rolls of blueprints leaning in the corners and piles of samples on the tables. We’ve been in Vijay Nagar for a while now and we like the neighborhood. It’s quiet enough that we can focus on the work without too much distraction from the street outside. It’s just what we do every day.
