Karma & Sons

You can find us at Plot No. 108/1 in Shankar Gunj. We are tucked away in the Gimshi area, not too far from Tiwari Dharamshala. It’s a bit of an old-school neighborhood, which suits us just fine. Being a family-run kind of place, Karma & Sons has a lot of history tied to these streets. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and keeps the sun off during the hot afternoons. We do most of our work in the back where there’s more room to move things around. The front part is where we sit and talk to anyone who drops by. It’s not fancy. We have some old wooden chairs and a fan that squeaks a bit when it’s on high. Most of the people around here have known us for years. We aren't interested in looking like a big city firm. We prefer the local pace. My sons are involved in the day-to-day stuff now, and they bring their own way of doing things, but the core of it stays the same. We handle a bit of everything that comes our way. Sometimes the truck deliveries get stuck in the narrow lane outside, and we all have to go out and help guide them in. It’s just part of life here in Shankar Gunj. We work hard, go home to our families, and come back to do it again the next day. There is no big mystery or corporate strategy to what we do. It is just a family business trying to do right.
