We are located in Johari Palace, room 208, which is right on MG Road. It’s a very busy spot because Treasure Island mall is nearby and the railway station is just across the way. You can always hear the trains whistling and the constant sound of cars and rickshaws on the main road. Our office is a straightforward place where we handle our business affairs. It’s not a large space, but we’ve made it work with enough desks for everyone and shelves full of ledgers and documents. Since we are in such a central location, we get a lot of people dropping by because they happen to be in the area for shopping or travel. The building itself has been there for a long time, so it has that older feel to it. We don’t have modern art or fancy carpets. It’s just a practical work environment. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, but that’s just part of being in this part of the city. We enjoy being so close to the station because it makes things easy for when we have to send or receive stuff. The mornings are usually spent catching up on emails and phone calls. By evening, the whole MG Road area gets really packed with people, but inside Johari Palace, we just keep focusing on our daily tasks until it's time to lock up and head out.
