Kala Ashram

Kala Ashram sits at No. 5, Saket Nagar Extension. We are right near Genius and just across from the Manishpuri Auto Stand, so there is always noise from the rickshaws. It isn't a quiet place, but it feels like part of the neighborhood. The building is a bit older now. We spend most of our mornings getting things ready and checking the schedule. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit in the afternoon and we just sit outside for a while until it comes back on. It’s a simple setup here. We don't have fancy furniture or a big lobby. Most people who come by are just looking for help with their projects. We’ve got some old desks and a lot of supplies piled up in the corners. It’s a bit messy if I'm being honest. But we know where everything is. The walk from the main road isn't too long. We see the same faces every day walking to the auto stand. It’s just how things go here at Saket Nagar. We do the work we need to do and try to keep things moving. There isn't much to say other than we've been here a while and we plan on staying. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation where we try to get the tasks done before it gets too dark to see. The tea shop nearby is where we usually end up around five o'clock.
