Jitendra Kirana Store

Our shop, Jitendra Kirana Store, is located right on Bhawar Kuan Road in Indore. We are very close to the Bhawarkuan Square, which is always busy with students and people rushing to catch buses. Being in such a lively part of the city means there is always noise outside, but inside the shop, it is just about getting the work done. We sell pulses, rice, spices, and all those small things you realize you forgot to buy at the big market. I took over from my father, and we have kept things pretty much the same over the years. We don't have air conditioning or fancy lights. It is just a wooden counter and rows of jars and bags. Dealing with the daily crowd near the square can be a bit much sometimes, but it keeps us busy. Most of the people who come in are from the nearby hostels or the families living in the back streets. We try to keep the prices fair because we know everyone is just trying to get by. If you need something specific and we don't have it, we usually tell you where else to look. It is a straightforward business. We show up, open the shutters, and wait for the day to start. It is honest work and we like being in this part of Indore. To be fair, the rain sometimes leaks a bit near the door, but we fix it up.
