Jai Ranjeet Traders

Jai Ranjeet Traders is tucked away in the basement level, shop LG-34, inside the Shree Vardhan Complex. It’s on 4, R.N.T. Marg, which is usually a pretty packed area with lots of vehicles and people moving around. Being in the lower ground floor means it stays a bit cooler than the street, which is nice during the summer months. We have a lot of stuff packed into this space. It’s mostly boxes of trade goods and supplies that we move in and out every day. It isn't the kind of place where things are laid out for display like a mall. It’s more of a working warehouse and office mixed into one. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers or checking the inventory lists to see what’s come in. The complex itself has a lot of other businesses, so there is always some noise from the hallways or people coming down to find us. We’ve been here long enough that most of the other shop owners know us by name. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when a big shipment arrives and we have to stack everything up near the door. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the goods get to where they need to go. It’s basic work, but it keeps us busy from morning until we close up for the evening. Sometimes the lighting down here flickers a bit, but we just get on with it.
