Goutam Kirana Store

Our shop is located at 88 Maruti Nagar, right on the Main Road in Pardesipura, Indore. It is a busy spot and we see a lot of people passing by every single day. We are a standard kirana store, so we carry the usual groceries like dal, rice, sugar, and tea. It's a small place, and sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock delivered at once. I usually spend my time at the counter, chatting with whoever comes in. Indore is a nice city, and the people in this neighborhood are very friendly. We’ve known some of our customers for years. They’ve seen our kids grow up, and we’ve seen theirs too. We don't have any fancy technology here, just a simple scale and some ledgers to write things down. Sometimes the light in the back flickers, but we haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. We just make do with what we have. Running a store like this means being here from early morning until late at night. It can be tiring, but it’s our livelihood. We focus on having the basic things people need for their kitchens so they don’t have to go all the way to the big market. It’s just us doing our work and serving the local community here in Maruti Nagar. We take it one day at a time and keep things moving. It feels good to be here.
