Duke Thomson'S International is based at E-260 in Shalimar Bunglow Park, which is in the Sukhliya area. Our location is a bit different from most businesses because we are situated in a residential-style neighborhood rather than a noisy, dirty industrial zone. It makes for a much quieter and more relaxed workday, which all of us here really appreciate. Our office is where we handle all the heavy paperwork, emails, and coordination for the international side of our business. We deal with a lot of different products and complicated shipping schedules across several countries. It can get a little bit chaotic with all the different time zones. Sometimes we are on the phone very early in the morning or quite late at night, depending on which part of the world we are talking to. There isn’t a huge staff in this office, just a few of us making sure the logistics and shipping plans actually happen. We have desks that are usually covered in folders, notebooks, and shipping manifests. It takes a lot of coordination to keep things moving. You won’t find any big, fancy marketing slogans or mission statements on our walls. We just stay focused on the specific task at hand, which is moving goods from one location to another without too many delays. Sukhliya is a nice part of town, and being in Shalimar Bunglow Park gives us a calm home base to work from. We've been doing this for quite some time now and have gotten used to the constant ups and downs of international trade. Some days are very slow, while other days involve a lot of urgent emails and frantic calls. We just take it all as it comes and try to stay organized.
