Our place is at No. 40 B in the New Gnt Market on Dhar Road. Being in the market means it’s always busy from the moment we open the doors. There are trucks loading and unloading all day long, and there’s a lot of shouting and horns honking outside. Our shop is packed with all sorts of tools. We try to keep them organized on the shelves, but when we get a lot of customers at once, things tend to get a bit jumbled. It’s a practical space, not meant for showing off. We have heavy metal shelves and a thick counter where we handle all the transactions. The floor is scratched up from moving heavy crates around for years. Dhar Road is a major route, so we get people coming in from all over. We usually have a radio playing in the background, mostly just for some noise when it’s not too hectic. Most of us here have been working with tools our whole lives. We know which wrench is best for a certain job and which ones are likely to snap if you pull too hard. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing we are here in the market. It’s a lot of work keeping track of the inventory, but we do our best with what we have. Sometimes we run out of space and have to stack things on the sidewalk. It's just how it goes here.
