Our office is over in Siya Ganj at No-97 on the Main Road. If you know the area, you know it’s right near the Bank of India. Siya Ganj is a very crowded place, full of wholesalers and traders. Deepchand Mishrilal Marketing Private Limited is tucked into one of the older buildings there. We spend most of our time on the phone or dealing with paperwork. It’s a marketing firm, but not the kind you see on TV. We mostly bridge the gap between the factories and the local shops. There is always a lot of shouting and horns honking outside our window. It’s the energy of the market. We have a couple of rooms filled with files and a small area for guests to sit. Usually, we just offer them some water and get to the business. We’ve been operating out of this spot for years. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time. We are more focused on making sure the goods get moved from point A to point B without too many delays. Some days are slow, while others are a complete mess of late deliveries and missing papers. We take it as it comes. It's a living. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just work. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, but they keep us fit.
