Laxmi Dresses

Riverside Road is always moving. We are inside Prakash Plaza. There are two units, 60 and 61. It is a dress shop. We spend our days hanging up clothes and talking to the people who walk in off the street. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea while waiting for the next person. Other days everyone comes at once and it is a bit of a scramble to help everyone. The plaza isn't the newest building but it serves us well. We keep a lot of different styles on the racks and sometimes the piles get a little high when new stock comes in. We try to keep it tidy but you know how it goes when people are looking through things. We see a lot of regulars from the neighborhood. It’s nice to recognize faces. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking here, just selling clothes that people need for their daily lives or special events. The light in the shop isn't always the best in the corners but we know where everything is. Riverside Road can get pretty loud with the traffic but once you’re inside the plaza it quietens down a bit. We just keep doing what we do every day. It is a simple life and a simple business. We don't spend much on advertising or anything like that we just rely on people seeing the sign and coming in to see what we have. It’s just us doing our work.
