Baba Kirana Store

My name is associated with Baba Kirana Store over here in Vina Nagar 298. We are in Indore, quite near the M R 10 road. It is a busy part of the city, but our corner stays relatively calm. I have been selling grains, oils, and other kitchen basics for quite a while now. The shop is part of the 452001 area. It is just a brick-and-mortar place with wooden shelves that have seen better days. I don't see the point in making it look like a mall. People come here for the items they need, not for the decor. I wake up early to open the shutters because some workers need their supplies before heading to their jobs. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so I usually sit near the front to catch whatever breeze comes through. My register is an old metal box, and I keep my accounts in a ledger. It's a reliable way to do things. The neighbors are good people and we often talk about the weather or local news while I weigh out their pulses. Sometimes the stock arrives late from the wholesalers, which is a bit of a headache, but we manage. If you are around the M R 10 area, you can easily spot the shop. It is a humble place, just doing what a kirana store is supposed to do for the neighborhood.
