Ashok Kumar Maloo

I am located over at the Govt. Malhar Ganj Polytechnic area in Malhar Ganj. My name is Ashok Kumar Maloo, and if you know this part of Indore, you know it has its own rhythm. Being near the polytechnic means there is always a bit of activity around. I have been working from here for a while now. It is a humble setup, really. I don't have those big glossy brochures or a website that does fancy tricks. I just have my desk and my work. I have lived in Indore most of my life, so I have seen the way the city has expanded, but Malhar Ganj still feels familiar. It is a bit older, a bit more lived-in. I like that about it. My daily routine is pretty much the same every week. I show up, check my messages, and start working through the pile. I try to be helpful when I can. It is not always easy, especially when things get backed up, but I do my best to stay on top of things. I think it is important to be direct with people. If something can be done, I say so. If it can't, I tell them that too. There is no point in making promises you can't keep. It is a simple way of doing things, but it has worked for me for years. Being near the polytechnic also means I see a lot of students passing by, which keeps the energy of the area feeling young and active even when the work itself is quite serious and repetitive.
