Anuradha Provision Store

Down in the Sindhi Colony area of Indore, right near the Sabji Mandi, is where you will find Anuradha Provision Store. It is a pretty good spot to be because people often finish buying their fresh vegetables and then walk over to us for the rest of their kitchen supplies. We have been at this 19/2 address for quite a long time. The shop is usually full of large bags of rice, different types of lentils, and plenty of spices. You can actually smell all the different powders the moment you walk through the door. It gets a bit dusty being so close to the main market, but we try to clean everything up every morning before we open. We don't really use computers for every little thing. We know most of our prices by heart and use a simple notepad when we need to. Our customers are more like old friends to us. We often ask how their children are doing, and they ask about our families too. It feels like a slow pace of life even when we are busy with a crowd. Indore has many of those big new stores now, but a lot of people still prefer coming to us for a more personal touch. We don't wear any fancy uniforms or anything. It's just regular clothes and a friendly nod. That is just how we have always done things here.
