Our business is over in Shiv Nagar Colony, right at D-1. We have been working in the dairy trade for quite some time now. It is a busy place to be in Indore. Most of our mornings start well before the sun comes up because that is when the milk arrives. The trucks make a lot of noise and there is always someone shouting instructions. We are not a big corporate office with fancy glass walls. It is just a practical setup where we manage the daily milk supply. We have a small staff and most of us have lived in Madhya Pradesh our whole lives. Dairy is a tough business because you cannot really take a day off. The cows don't stop and people need their milk every single morning. The office has some old fans that creak and the desks are covered in notebooks. We do not use any fancy software for everything, sometimes just a pen and paper works better. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we started, but we are still here doing the same thing. People often just stop by to say hello or ask about the prices. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can. When the weather gets really hot in the summer, we have to work even harder to keep everything cold. It is just a regular job for us and we do our best to stay organized. There is always something to clean or a truck to unload.
